Windermere Dental Group is Hiring a Dental Assistant Near Orlando, FL

Job Title: Dental Assistant - Metrowest Dental Practice in Orlando, FL

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant to join our professional and dynamic team at our Metrowest dental practice in Orlando, FL. This is a full-time position with 4 days a week, Monday thru Thursday. We are committed to providing exceptional dental care and patient satisfaction, and we are looking for a team player who shares our passion and commitment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Provide patient education and instruction
  • Maintain patient records and charting
  • Order and maintain dental supplies and inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited dental assistant program
  • Active state certification as a Dental Assistant
  • CPR certification
  • Minimum of 2 years of dental assistant experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in dental software
